Thanks for all who responded to my post on donating things and the idea to put together a list of places that really can use donations to help people and animals in need of the things we sometimes as couponers get free.  This is a list of places that distribute food and other necesities to people and animals who are in need of it.  This list should make it easier for you to make pick up arrangements of drop off times to donate the items you may get that you do not use but got free or cheap with coupons:

Another group of people who could really use some help as a reader mentioned is the local community colleges have students who really are trying to better their lives and trying to afford school and everything else for a list of community colleges In New York  GO HERE.
