I don't want much for Christmas, I just want the person reading this to be happy. Friends are the fruit cake of life --- some nutty, some soaked in alcohol, some sweet, but mix them together and they're my friends. At Christmas you always hear people talking about what they want & bought. This is what I want: I want people who are sick with no cure to be able to be cured. I want children with no families to be adopted. I want people to never have to worry about food, shelter & heat. I want peace and love for everyone!

I agree completely with Cindy. There is nothing I need, we are blessed to have enough. Both of my parents are cancer survivors, I am thankful for that everyday. Also blessed with two young boys, the 4 year old is really starting to get into holiday crafts, songs, elf on the shelf etc. so thankful for what we have. Wishing more to those without. We've adopted a few children from the angel tree at work, hopefully their gifts will put a smile into their faces.

I can't pick between 3 days spent making cookies each year or the very huge Italian Christmas Eve party. Christmas Eve has always been a more special day. It is much easier for a larger part of the family to gather. On actually Christmas day so many people seem to have to rush around. I'd never give up my Christmas Eve traditions. My favorite day of the year!

I have a huge family, 6 brothers and sisters who are all at least 11 years older than me, so our Christmases were always family-filled, and Christmas Eve and Day were always celebrated at my family home. Sometimes there were 30+ people in our tiny living room opening gifts together.I always thought it was crazy and couldn't wait til I grew up, moved out and had my own family so things wouldn't be so hectic at Christmastime. Now, my mother has alzheimer's and moved away to live with my sister 6 hours away, my dad is in poor health, another sister is in kidney failure, and because of all that my large family has not had a holiday all together for three years now. I have my relaxed Christmas with my little family, and although I enjoy it dearly, I just wish it was possible to have one more hectic family Christmas with all my brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and especially my parents in the same place. My realistic wish though is for our little family and extended family to be safe and happy throughout this Christmas season.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but December 24th and 25th are tons of fun for me. People apparently do not celebrate that holiday at Splash Lagoon in Erie! So my favorite part of the days are getting to spend time with my kids at a place that is typically overcrowded and getting in a lot of fellowship with my fellow JW's, some I just meet the day we get there, but there is an instant bond over our common love for God :)

This year for Christmas I am being selfish. I want my health back. After a head on car accident over a decade ago, I am feeling like a broken 90 year old in a 38 year old shell. I can't be active with my kids like I used to be and I want, even for just one day, to have no pain or trouble moving so that I can laugh and play and carryon with my family like I used to.
My favorite part about Christmas is the traditions like opening a present of new pjs every Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas ALL!

I am so grateful for what I have - and wish more peace and less chaos for everyone all over the world!

Watching the others get excited to what they got for gifts. Makes me happy that I can at least try to give them what they asked for.

I love Giving! If I am chosen to win this, I will be purchasing groceries to give to the Food Cupboard at my church!

My two favorites are 1- donating gifts to less fortunate families so that their children can have a great Christmas and 2- watching my daughter open her gifts and then have more fun playing in the wrapping paper and boxes!!!

This year for Christmas I just want my family to be happy! I don't care about the gifts that isn't what Christmas is about and I think that is often forgot. Less is better!!

Even with the running from house to house, I love seeing the smiles on my kid's faces all day.
